Our new deck
Here are pictures of our new deck - posted by popular request! As you can see, it's not quite finished yet, but we've eaten several meals outside and the boys love playing on it. It turned out quite a bit larger than we'd imagined, but it's perfect (I'm sure not going to complain)! It still needs the stairs built in the middle indented section and stained along the edges, but that'll probably happen here this next week (hopefully)!

I like your new deck! It’s great to see it in the middle of the progress. I think you chose a really interesting stain for it because it really pops against the siding of your house. Did you ever consider putting up some railings on it?

It's been years! I assume this deck is finished and you've probably enjoyed a lot of experiences in it by now! Did you post the finished product? It would be nice to read about it and see updated pictures. I'm kind of a deck fanatic. I don't know, but there's something about this part of home that fascinates me.
